how butts interact with environments
Buttone is a parody of a Pantone fan deck sampler. It documents the textures and colors that my bottom touched throughout a week. The collection of photos includes both surfaces that were designed for a butt to interact with, as well as surfaces I repurposed for my own needs using my butt.
As a whole, the fan deck is a set of data points resulting from diverse factors such as structured activity, interior design, and material economics. Many of the textures include uneven lighting or even my shadow/reflection. I felt that leaving those impurities in gave more information about the space in which the surface resided.
